We were tasked to assist a broken down yacht drifting along the Cardiff foreshore approximately 1 mile away from the Cardiff Bay barrage.

Our Atlantic lifeboat assisted the vessel and towed it to safety at the Cardiff Barrage. The yachtsmen on board were safe and well.

The lifeboat returned at 17:10 hours amd refuelled and made ready for the next service.
