The Pilot in Penarth opened on Friday with their takeaway service but have announced that they will be closing their doors again due to the police being called.

They made the announcement on their Twitter and said: ''We won't be continuing with our Friday Beer takeaways, sorry.

"Unfortunately, calls were made to the police last Friday and whilst they were very happy with the safeguarding measures we had in place, we've decided not to continue under these circumstances.

"The Conway carries on though!"

The Albion Pub have, similarly, closed their doors after the police were called on their opening night.
