Sully Car Boot Sale is Back Open With Social Distancing in Place

The first Sully Car Boot Sale of 2020 took place on Sunday after a temporary hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

They will be returning this weekend, weather permitting for buyers and sellers to enjoy.

They said: "It was a fantastic first car boot sale of 2020 on Sunday and thank you to everyone who attended. We had just under 200 sellers which were an excellent start to the delayed season.

"After feedback from our buyers, we have revised our opening time for buyers is now 7.30 am.

"Entry for sellers starts at 6.30 am, we ask you to please put your pitch fees into a plastic bag, this will be collected before admission to the sale. We also ask sellers not to sell to anyone before or to buy off of fellow stallholders before 7.30 am.

"Please carry out social distancing and follow the instructions of our stewards at all times. We hope, with the assistance of everyone to carry on with the sales into September."

They will also be operating a one-way system to help with social distancing regulations.

Opening Times Sunday:

Entry for sellers 6.30 am

Entry for buyers 7.30 am

Sellers:

Family Car - £9.00

Vans, cars with trailers and sideways parking - £18.00

Large Vehicle - £27.00

Please put your fees in a plastic bag, which will be collected before entry to the car boot sale.

Car Boot Sale Rules of Entry

  • All cars must use the main entrance off South Road.
  • Follow the instructions of the stewards on duty.
  • Park your vehicle as instructed by car park marshals.
  • It is unlawful to sell counterfeit goods at our boot sale as it is anywhere in the UK.
  • Sellers to remove all debris and unsold items from our site.
  • No littering, please use bins provided on-site.
  • Strictly no dogs except service dogs and guide dogs
  • For cars wishing to park sideways, the charge is £18.00
  • All buyers and sellers to leave the sports field by 2.00 pm.
  • After 2.00 pm all vehicles can park in our main car park.
