Renowned Art History lecturer Stella Grace Lyons returns to Penarth Pier Pavilion this summer to give two lectures on well known 20th century artists.

Stella is a freelance speaker accredited by the Arts Society and previous lectures at the Pavilion have proved very popular.

On Wednesday 21st August 7-9pm the lecture is "All the Lonely People" on the work of American Realist Edward Hopper, famous for his studies of isolated individuals in familiar settings.

On Wednesday 28th August 7-9pm the lecture is "Magic Realism in New England", looking at the mesmerising work of Andrew Wyeth.

Tickets for each event are £15, to include a glass of wine after the lecture.
