Spate of Burglaries in Penarth Leads to Arrest of 17 Year Old

In recent days South Wales police have responded to reports concerning burglaries from sheds and outhouses in Penarth when clothing and other similar items have been stolen.

They have released a statement today.

A spokesperson for SWP said: ''We have arrested a 17 year old boy in connection with these offences.

''He has been interviewed and is currently released pending further investigation.

''We take offences of this nature very seriously and will continue to work tirelessly, together with partner agencies, to minimise the risk posed by such individuals to the law abiding residents of Penarth.''
