A fundraising event in Penarth has raised more than £200 for a breast cancer charity and there is still time to donate.

Two years ago Naomi Burke and her friend Liz Davies shaved their heads for the Coppafeel charity and raised £2,227.

Naomi recently took part in a fitness challenge in Alexandra Park in Penarth, seeking online sponsorship.

Naomi says: "Coppafeel is not just a charity raising awareness on breast cancer but an empowering group of people encouraging others to love themselves and take control of their bodies and health.

"Thank you in advance for contributing to this cause; that means so much to me."

CoppaFeel! is the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, aiming to install a new healthy habit that could one day save a life.

They're on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer and ensure the nation is checking their boobs regularly.

Educating people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encouraging them to know what is normal for them and empowering them to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
