The saga of the school bridge
The saga of the school bridge

The bridge serving Dinas Powys Primary School has been under reconstruction for months.

Now, there seems reason to hope it will reopen before Christmas.

Led by Plaid community councillor Keith Hatton, Plaid Cymru has been pursuing the Vale to address delays to replacing the school bridge.

Additional workers have now been allocated and it is hoped the bridge will be opened on December 13.

It has been a huge inconvenience to all concerned with hold up after hold up frustrating for the school, parents, Bethesda Chapel and the library.

Temporary railings will be installed pending the arrival of the permanent railings.
