Prizewinning Chris will talk about his latest novel - a tale of life under occupation

Penarth-based author Chris Lloyd will be talking about the publication of his latest novel at an event in the town later this coming week.

Griffin Books will be hosting the launch of 'Paris Requiem' by Chris at The Turner House Gallery on Thursday 23 February at 7.30 pm (doors open 7 pm).

Based on historical research, 'Paris Requiem' is a crime novel and a portrait of life under Occupation. This is Chris's second novel set in Paris and featuring Detective Eddie Giral.

The first, 'The Unwanted Dead', won the Historical Writers' Association Gold Crown Award for best historical novel of the year, and was shortlisted for the Crime Writers' Association Historical Dagger Award.

Chris will be interviewed by fellow Welsh author, Alis Hawkins.
