Police Appeal for Witnesses After Assault on the Barrage

South Wales police are investigating an assault which happened near the control building of the Penarth side of the barrage at around 9.00 pm on Friday 10th January.
The incident involved two men who were fishing off the barrage near the locks.
A 32-year-old man from Splott has been arrested in connection with the offence and has been released on police bail.
