Poets Corner residents demand 93 bus back

LOCAL residents held a peaceful protest outside West House in Penarth on Thursday, 8 September, calling on the Town Council to support a return of the 93 bus service.
One of the campaigners, Paul fenton, says: "Despite the Vale of Glamorgan Council receiving £282,868 in funding for bus services, the 93 route was withdrawn — leaving the elderly, vulnerable, and young people without reliable transport.
"We are calling on the Council to restore the 93 service immediately and explain how the funding has been used.
"Thank you to everyone who came along — in atrocious weather conditions, your support shows our community will not be ignored!"
