Rugby:

• The Old Penarthians 1st XV played Ynysowen at home in a league fixture. They won 27-0. Rhys Lakin, Louis Chandler, Adan Cole and Chris Poole scored tries. Nathan Mark Facey converted two tries and scored a penalty.

• Penarth RFC played away against CRC Caerdydd. They won with the final score of CRC 38-43 Penarth.

Football:

• Penarth Town lost to the Cadoxton Imps away in a 3-2 defeat. Cleary, Powell and Parry bagged the goals for the Imps.

• Cogan Coronation picked up a second successive win with a 5-1 triumph over Cardiff Airport at home.
