Penarth's Remembrance Day Parade

Details of the Remembrance Day Parade through Penarth on Sunday, 14 November have been announced.

The parade will form at Penarth Station Approach at 9.45am and march off at 10.00am.

Albert Road school are displaying some of their work at Penarth Pier Pavilion, Stanwell School are helping to decorate the Pavilion and Victoria School will be painting and displaying pebbles in the Garden of Remembrance on Rectory Road.

The parade will march off from Station Approach, turn right onto Victoria Road before turning right onto Stanwell Road.

Then it will follow Stanwell Road and turn right onto Rectory Road.

The parade will halt on the road in front of the Garden of Remembrance.

After the wreath-laying ceremony, the parade with reform and turn left into Windsor Terrace. It will continue up this road to the roundabout then make a left onto Stanwell Road before turning onto Victoria Avenue near Trinity Church.

The parade will then move to Victoria Square, then fall out here for the Remembrance Service at All Saints Church.

After the service, the parade will reform on Victoria Road and march until the right turn onto Stanwell Road.

It will then proceed back up to the roundabout and turn left down Windsor Road, ending at the Ex Services Club.

Volunteers will be collecting for the Royal British Legion at Tesco in Penarth and Morrison's in the Bay.
