T Hafan Garden Volunteers are fundraising for supplies to maintain the hospice gardens.
The hospice gardens, which include the Memorial Garden, have been incredibly important to families, friends and carers who use it as a way of making memories, especially as some of the children are so fragile.
It provides a calm and tranquil environment to reflect, as well as a much-needed memorial to their loved ones.
The gardens also provide a space for staff to unwind and take a short break from the stress of their day job.
A group of approximately 10 volunteers from St Hilary, Sully, Penarth and Cardiff, dedicate their time and effort to tend to the garden, including Monica Dennis.
"The gardens are really lovely, but they were quite overgrown," said Monica.
"We're trying to restore all landscapes around it so it's quite a major task at the moment.
"The gardens overlook the sea, so from the hospice rooms you can look at the view, and the parents and children there visit them too.
"In a way, it's part of the whole service of peace and wellbeing for the families.
"So, it's really important that the gardens are nice to look at."
The volunteers are asking for donations of gardening supplies including surplus plants, bulbs, tools, and compost.
