Penarth Yacht Club and the Old Pens RFC are persevering in the wake of the cancellation of Wales' six nations finale.
With the Wales v. Scotland game postponed due to coronavirus concerns, a lot of local venues will be feeling the brunt of the business lost from this decision.
Penarth Yacht Club wants to remind residents that they will still be open and have come up with a host of ideas to keep everyone's Saturday lively.
They said: ''We don't want to disappoint our members. Come to the club for a fun afternoon with rugby comedy, music and a quiz.
''We will still have the free chilli at 3.30 pm for members and discounted for members guests, discounted drinks from 1.15 pm to 2.30 pm.
''Definitely worth a visit. Not a member? Not to worry I am certain someone will know you and sign you in. It's free
''Come support your club because we will look after you.''
Old Penarthians shared a similar sentiment on Facebook. They said: ''As people will probably know, the game has now been postponed but the Club will still be open and everyone is welcome.''
With coronavirus taking its hit on local business it is important to come together as a community whilst remaining safe.
