The baby and toddler group Penarth Under 5s, which has been running in Penarth for over 40 years, is at risk of closing as the group is struggling to continue due to lack of volunteers.

Sean, who has been volunteering for over two years said: "It will be so sad if it has to come to an end, it is such a great place to take the children."

Children's groups, like this one are so important to a child's early development as well as being a brilliant place for mums, dads, grandmas, grandpas, childminders to come and meet and discuss the many ups and downs of caring for little ones!

We desperately hope that some volunteers will come forward to help so it can continue to be a fantastic place for children and adults to meet and play.

If you could volunteer a small amount of time on a Thursday morning between 9am and 11.30am please message us on our Facebook page Penarth Under 5s.
