Penarth Town Council is currently preparing to re-open Penarth Cemetery on a trial basis.

They said: ''We are working to establish new social distancing measures and provide all staff with personal protective equipment to ensure that reopening can be done in the safest possible way.

''Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.''

Penarth cemetery closed until further notice following the Government advice in late March. Visitors were unable to visit during this time.
