Penarth residents Julie Johnson, Julia Bakshi and Charlotte Court are running a Nearly New Clothing fundraiser in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness and Cardiff City Hospice.
The event consists of high-quality donated clothing being sold at The Young Creative Agency.
Julia has spent the past three weeks trawling around Cardiff and the Vale picking up clothes for the event.
They currently have sixteen rails and a few tables packed with clothes, ranges from in sizes 6-22.
The two charities were chosen for different reasons. Breast Cancer is a topic close to all the girl's hearts. Julia said: ''We have quite a few friends and family members who have been diagnosed and fought their battle with Breast Cancer.
''It's really relevant to us and we wanted to do something to help. We are at an age where it is a very prevalent disease and lots of people around our age worry about it.''
The ladies are no strangers to charitable fundraising, having previously completed a Walk the Walk in London, with Charlotte from Willmore's 1938, raising £9000 for breast cancer.
It was here that they decided to take on another fundraising mission, but this time for the City Hospice in Cardiff.
Julia said: ''Julie and I have committed to doing two more walks which we have paid for ourselves to go on. Two of which are the moonwalks in Edinburgh and London. We have also committed to the Great Wall of China.''
A £10 ticket to the event, which you can purchase from Willmore's 1938 Café on Stanwell Road or on the door, will get you into the exclusive entry as well as a glass of fizz and a raffle ticket.
Local businesses have also got behind the fundraiser. Rowley's have donated six handmade evening dresses and another lovely lady has given three full wedding event outfits (with hats and all).
There is a wide range of clothing brands up for grabs with a great selection from local outfitters like Queen B.
So far, they have had a welcome reaction from the local community.
Lots of locals have joined their Facebook event and they have since upgraded from a house to a studio to hold the sale.
Unfortunately, and surprisingly, there have been some negative comments about the charitable event.
Julia discussed the online trolling they had received from those who were angry with them for not donating the clothing to flood victims in Wales.
Julia said: ''I have been solidly working on this for three weeks. So much effort has been put into the event and we really want it to be a success. From a rag and bone collection service to cleaning and prepping the clothes and organising the studio. There is a lot of work behind it.
''Ashley from Young Creative Agency has donated their studio for a week and we've spent hours getting it ready.
''People often don't realise what has gone into an event. We are very aware of the situations people are dealing with in the floods.
''Any clothes that are too old or we can't use in the sale for whatever reason we have bagged up and donated to the victims of the flooding. We have already given three bags to flood victims that we can't use.
''These charities mean a lot to us personally and we hope that people can support it.''
The event will take place at 5 pm on Thursday 26th of February at Unit 4A Windmill Parc, Hayes Rd, Sully CF64 5SG
