An application has been made to convert the old Penarth Seniors Club into four duplex apartments on Arcot Street.

The planning application proposes the construction of 1 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom apartments which would have two floors.

The building currently comprises of a ground floor unit which, until recently, has been used as a seniors meeting hall.

There is also a disused basement area which the application seeks to completely refurbish.

A small outside garden is accessible from the lowest level and the designs show that this would have cycle storage/ shelves for potential residents to use.

A decision will be made by Vale Council planning on whether these designs can go ahead.
