Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary in March of this year.

Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes, and practical and emotional support for families and carers.

The Penarth branch is situated on Bridgeman Road.

To celebrate they will be holding a diamond anniversary gala dinner and have invited local residents to join them.

Their post on social media summarises the event: ''We'll be hosting a black-tie gala dinner at the Mercure Hotel, Holland House, with a delicious three-course meal, special entertainment and a guest performance from Only Men Aloud.''

Tickets cost £85 and tables of 10 are also available for £850.

If you'd like to join the Marie Curie team in celebrating their 60th year please contact [email protected].
