A final list of local election candidates for Penarth has been published today (April 6).

For this election, 54 councillors in total will be elected across the 24 wards in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The council is made up of 15 Conservative councillors, 14 Labour councillors, four Plaid Cymru councillors, eight Vale Independent councillors, four Llantwit First councillors, and two Independent councillors.
