Vale launches Penarth fly-tipping appeal

The Vale Council has launched an appeal to identify the person responsible for dumping large white goods and painting equipment on Bradenham Place.

Last year, the Vale of Glamorgan reported 357 incidents of fly-tipping and spent over £18,000 on clearance.

Fly-tipping is considered a serious offence. The courts have various powers available to them to tackle fly-tipping, including imprisonment, unlimited fines and an order to deprive rights to a vehicle used to commit the offence.

Most prosecutions result in a fine.

If you know who was responsible for this incident, please call the Vale of Glamorgan in confidence on 01446 700111 or email [email protected]
