Some showery outbreaks before dawn are likely. A wet afternoon forecast for Penarth with heavy outbreaks of rain. These will clear through the afternoon, but a few blustery showers will likely blow in from the north-west. Strong gusts are likely. Tonight will be cold and windy. Bands of rain will sweep in from the north, these will have a wintry mix, bringing some snow to higher ground but mostly rain to lower levels. Strong gusts continue.

A4055 – Queueing traffic on A4055 Cardiff Road Northbound at B4267 Redlands Road (Merrie Harrier traffic lights). Mill Road – Temporary traffic signals due to gas main work on Mill Road near Mill Close.
