A wet morning in Penarth as a band of rain moves eastwards. Into the afternoon, the rain will clear to the east, and there will be plenty of sunny spells developing, with chance of the odd shower here or there.

This evening and tonight, it will turn clear and chilly for many areas as the winds ease. Clouding over towards dawn, the winds will strengthen too.
