TODAY'S PENARTH AREA EVENTS:

Art History Lecture - Picasso's Women at the Pavilion:

Join us for our first event in the next series of Art History Lectures by Stella Lyons. "Women are machines for suffering," Picasso said to his mistress Françoise Gilot in 1943. Pablo Picasso drew obsessively on women for artistic inspiration. Of the seven most significant in his life, two women went mad, and two killed themselves. We will look at how he portrayed his wives, loves and muses, contrasting images of tenderness with more harrowing depictions of the female form dissected and rearranged on the canvas. Tickets £15 and includes a glass of wine following the lecture. Doors open at 6.30 pm, the lecture starts at 7 pm.

Raymarine Roadshow at Penarth Marina:

Raymarine is delighted to be conducting another UK Roadshow reaching out to customers and Penarth Marina will be hosting this event on Wednesday 11th March 2020. This is your chance to get dedicated advice from Raymarine experts who will help you choose the marine electronics system to suit your boating needs. 10 am - 4 pm.
