Beethoven 250 - Violin Sonata Cycle Recital 1 at St Augustine's:

2020 sees the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's birth and as part of the celebrations, All Saints Church, Victoria Square Penarth, is hosting a series of five hour-long lunchtime recitals during the course of the year. Maia Broido and Robin Green will perform the complete cycle of Beethoven's violin sonatas at these recitals, the first of which will be held at All Saints Church, Victoria Square on Tuesday 10th March starting at 1.00 p.m. After an introduction by classical pianist Robin Green, the couple will perform violin sonata no 1, op 12 no. 1 and violin sonata no 5, op 24 'Spring'. Free entry but donations welcomed.
