Griffin Books is set to host the UK launch event for Ruth Jones' new novel, Love Untold.

Ruth is best known for her award-winning television writing, most notably BBC One's Gavin & Stacey, which she co-wrote with James Corden and portrayed the iconic Nessa Jenkins.

She has now transferred these skills into the world of books and Love Untold is Ruth's third novel.

Her debut, Never Greener, has now sold over a quarter of a million copies. It was chosen as WHSmith Fiction Book of the Year 2018, was a Zoe Ball Book Club pick, and was a Sunday Times bestseller for fifteen weeks, with three weeks at number one.

Ruth's second novel, Us Three, was an instant Sunday Times bestseller in hardback and paperback.

Love Untold is a story about mothers and daughters and the complex bond between them. It is about the heartache that comes from leaving things unsaid and the power of true forgiveness, a joy-filled, life-affirming, sob-inducing novel - with characters you will come to know and love.

The launch event will take place on Tuesday, September 27 with the Cardiff venue soon to be announced.

Tickets are £25.00, which includes a copy of Love Untold, and can be purchased from ticketsource.co.uk/griffinbooks.

You can also contact the shop directly at [email protected] or call 02920 706455.
