A group of local artists will be exhibiting their work in Penarth Pavilion this weekend.

A mix of artists, sculptors, arts collectives and galleries will be selling work directly to the public.

13 artists will showcase their work alongside Kooywood gallery who has a stand.

The Penarth Art Fair will be taking place in Penarth Pavilion from the 18th - 20th October.

It is a free event and promises to be a busy and enjoyable weekend.

Organiser Michael Goode says, "I was involved in organising the first Penarth Art Fair in 2015, which went really well with lots of visitors to the event.

''So when I set up my own creative company Inc-Creative/Creadigol in January this year, I was keen to organise the same event for local artists to show and sell their work directly to the public in the unique setting of the Penarth Pier Pavilion.

Local artist Sheridan Ward, who will be presenting her work at the event, says "having seen how successful the event was in 2015 I was very keen to be involved when Michael contacted me."
