Penarth art fair returned at Penarth Pier Pavilion this weekend after a hiatus from 2015-2019.

Michael Goode, the organiser, was responsible for bringing the event back to life at Penarth pier.

The exhibition displayed a wealth of local and Welsh talent to the people of Penarth.

The artists bought their own individual styles and the showcases were vivid and exciting.

Sheridan Ward said: ''I think this is the best I've attended. All the artists have chosen really interesting, bright pieces and they all look individual and different.''

The artists presented their work from Friday-Sunday with pieces available for purchase and commission.

Nub News attended to photograph the event and talk to local artists about their contributions.

Michael Goode, the organiser, said: ''I am very happy to have the art fair return to Penarth. I have already booked the space for next year so it will be happening again. We all got a bit busy with our own projects after 2015 but it's good to have it back again.''

13 artists took part in the event, as well as Koywood gallery:

• Dawn Harries (Pontypridd)
