Friends of Victoria Square is inviting locals to join them at an Open Day on Saturday, August 20.

The group will celebrate completing the Heritage Lottery and Welsh Government-funded elements of improvements to the biodiversity and ecology of the Square.

The Open Day will start at 10:00 and finish at 13:00. Visitors will learn about all the improvements that have been made and talk to the volunteers who have made it all possible.

Guided tours of the Square will be available on the day - learn about how the project will continue and how they will look to offer the facilities of the Square to the wider public

Cakes and refreshments will be served, with funds raised going towards the ongoing maintenance of Victoria Square.

Friends of Victoria Square is a sub-group of Penarth Civic Society.
