The Old Penarthians has launched a new Youtube channel today which will display a wide range of footage including match highlights, interviews and more.
The club has had a tough year with the disruptions faced by poor weather and then by the coronavirus pandemic but they are raring to get going again when they get the go-ahead.
They said: "We can finally launch our Old Pens TV channel today, with our brand new sponsorship packages available too.
"We have been incredibly lucky to have fantastic sponsors and donors over the years and now we really want to pay you back with a fantastic return on investment by showing off your company in a modern, unique way.
"Enjoy a taster of what is to come at Old Pens, with highlights from club matches, half time interviews, player interviews, company showcases and much more.
"For anyone that would like to see these videos in the future, don't forget to subscribe to our new Youtube channel, if we get to 1,000 subscribers we can produce even better content."
Currently, the team are in stage one of returning to play. Stage one is classed as 'Preparation stage' and means that the current rules are still in place. This means still a 2m distance, only two households training maximum at one time and no groups are allowed to train as yet.
Keri Lovell, the Director of Rugby, said: ''The WRU are very much guided by the Welsh government as to when they can move to stage two which would involve group training and I will be keeping you bang up to date on when that will happen.
"One thing they made clear is that the playing season will not begin properly in September. There are three dates being discussed as potential start dates and they are October 2020, December 2020 or January 2021 and the season will be truncated to allow for this. They will confirm official dates as the government releases more information. Stage two (Group training) may well start before September but until we are sure, we need to stick to the current guidelines for your safety.
"I know this is a difficult time for all of us, especially the players who will be missing playing with their friends but it's also an exciting time to be part of Old Penarthians RFC. There are some big developments at the club happening behind the scenes so we can make it a really exciting place for you all to come back to and we are using this time to put some of these in place.
"I am massively looking forward to seeing you all out there on the pitches again and I will now be constantly updating you as soon as I have some more news."
