There was an outstanding show of historic Dinas Powys images in the library with Mike Baker.
His collection of post cards of old Dinas Powys thrilled the audience.
The post cards were projected onto the wide screen TV.
Mike entertained a capacity audience with scenes of Ardwyn, Bryneithin, railways, St Winifreds and the Twyn. Sadly many of these fine buildings have been demolished.
Members of the audience added their recollections of village characters and events.
Chair of library trustees Chris Franks thanked Mike and his wife Alison for an excellent night.
