Penarth-based husband-and-wife team Kit and Ceri Lambert are launching brand-new Cabaret and Theatre production company, Quill & Pearl Presents, aimed at attracting the top, professional performers from around the UK (and beyond) to take the stage at venues across South Wales.

They will also be supporting the next generation of talent from the region, providing opportunities to perform, train, and connect with other cabaret performers. Quill and Pearl Presents' launch event, The Pearl Revue, an all-star comedy variety show, is taking place at Wales Millennium Centre on Saturday, 5 July, before rolling out to other South Wales theatres and arts venues.

Kit is a successful TV writer, known for his work across many popular shows such as Death in Paradise, EastEnders, and Father Brown. Ceri, better known as the award-winning burlesque star Oola Pearl, has performed at prestigious venues and festivals across UK and Europe, and coproduced the sold-out Wales Burlesque Festival in 2024. The first performance of The Pearl Revue features a stellar cast of cabaret performers, including jaw dropping hula hooping by Guinness World Record holder Chi Chi Revolver, hilarious comedy ventriloquism from star of stage and screen Max Fulham, titter and tease from burlesque comediennes Ezme Pump and Oola Pearl, hypnotic belly dancing from Sofeya, and seductive sorcery from The Sisters Dare. There will even be a raucous singalong and tall tale or two from Aunty Mae, the colourful alter-ego of vaudevillian Lena Lenman (producer of The Hundred Watt Club).

Over the next few months, Quill & Pearl Presents will be dazzling local audiences with their three flagship productions:
