A new public access defibrillator has been installed outside Cliffhaven Care Home, on Clive Road.

The machine was donated by Barry Rotary, with the funds for the external cabinet and installation donated by the care facility.

"A big thank you must go to the Cliffhaven Care Home management and staff, said a spokesperson for Barry Rotary.

"Not only for the funding of the cabinet, but also for the warm welcome Barry Rotary received on the day of final installation."
