Major rail disruption between Rhadyr and Treherbert

By Alex Jones

21st Oct 2020 | Local News

An operational incident along the line will mean that trains from Penarth to Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil via Rhadyr will now terminate at Rhadyr.

Transport for Wales have stated that "train services running across the whole Transport For Wales network may be cancelled or delayed." The precise cause of the disruption is currently unknown.

Penarth trains that go straight from Cardiff to Pontypridd without stopping at Rhadyr do not appear to be affected.
