Local Hospitals Reduced Christmas Park and Ride Service Revealed

The Christmas timetable for Llandough Hospitals Park and Ride Service has been confirmed helping residents from Penarth and further afield to plan ahead.

The popular services for the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital will run throughout the festive period, but will not operate on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day.

The services will also finish early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, with the last bus departing UHL and UHW at 5pm and 5.10pm respectively.

The weekday staff shuttle service between the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital will not operate between Monday 23 December and Friday 3 January, resuming on Monday 6 January 2020.

Plan your journey if using public transport:

Members of staff and patients planning to use public transport to visit the health board's hospitals during the Christmas period will need to take into account changes to timetables across the public transport network.

Cardiff Bus will be operating on all days other than Christmas Day, with various amended timetables in place. It will also be running a number of free services will be running from 6.30pm on New Year's Eve.

Transport for Wales Train services will begin to shut down from 8pm on Christmas Eve, with no services on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
