Support for the library from town store's champion

THE efforts of a store's community champion were praised by the chair of local library trustees, Chris Franks.
On behalf of Dinas Powys Library Trustees he told Penarth Nub News: ""It was a delight to meet Lynda who is the Tesco Penarth's Community Champion.
"Lynda paid a visit to the library this week to offer support.
"We were thrilled to accept her generous gifts which included Lego and toys along with a cash donation," said Chris.
"She was interested to learn that the library is a self funding charity.
"We have to pay all the day to day bills. The library looks forward to working with Lynda in the future."
