If You Go Down to the Woods Today: A Fairy Door Trail in Cosmeston

By The Editor

9th Jun 2020 | Local News

Fairy doors have popped up across Comeston Country Park and lots of local residents have spotted them on their walks over the coronavirus pandemic. The creator of the doors is unknown but they have certainly made an impact in Penarth.

Local resident Steve West captured a number of the handmade doors when he was on a walk with his daughter through the woods. You can see these ones pictured above.

Today, the Crepe Escape in Penarth also shared an image of one of the doors as it paid tribute to their wonderful local shop.

They said: ''What an absolute delight and privilege it was to find this Fairy door in the woods. We are just so touched by this. It is so lovely. We can imagine all the lovely fairy's in there eating crepes and drinking milkshakes."

We don't know who has created this trail of fairy doors but we love them and would love to see more of them. Please do send them in or let us know who's behind the magical moments.
