An event will take place in Penarth tomorrow (Wednesday, 30 November) to help shape future plans for the town.

A consultation and workshop open to residents will be held at St Paul's Community centre on Arcot Street from 7 to 9pm organised by Penarth Living Streets.

A statement from the group says: "We need to understand threats and anxieties, see the opportunities and recognise the evolving use of the town centre.

"Big changes or small incremental and reversible steps - experiments with evaluations?

"The workshop will comprise of three tasks, each dealing with different aspects of planning. Each task will be discussed in small groups with feedback to the whole meeting.

"The outcome of these discussions will form the basis of future meetings."
