There is currently no way of donating blood in Penarth itself as the WBS (WBS) has been unable to find a "suitable venue" due to social distancing restrictions.

The WBS will be collecting donations in Barry for six days in March.

Penarth donors are being encouraged to donate there.

WBS will be at the Memo Arts Centre during the following dates and times:

Wednesday 10 March – 10:00 - 12:30 & 14:00 - 17:30

Friday 12 March – 09:30 - 12:30 & 14:00 - 17:00

Friday 26 March – 10:00 - 12:30 & 14:00 - 17:30

Tuesday 30 March – 09:30 - 12:30 & 14:00 - 17:00

"If you don't know your blood type, now is the best time to start donating," say the Welsh Blood Service.

"The Welsh Blood Service goal is to get around seven days of all kinds of blood every time.

"Can you help us and give blood?"
