Home interiors and gift store Hamptons in Penarth is celebrating 14 years trading and throughout August are offering their customers a series of Birthday offers.

Hamptons is set over two floors in a beautifully converted former meeting hall and fruit market in Ludlow Lane in the town centre.

With everything from sofas and occasional furniture, lighting, cushions and throws to glassware, bath products, scarves and jewellery it's a haven of gorgeous products.

Andy Bradshaw and Peter Knowles who run Hamptons as well as Shore on the seafront in Penarth are passionate about retail and customer service.

"When we first came here over 15 years ago the building was run down and sadly neglected" said Peter.

"We spent six months refurbishing the building and creating a home for what was to become Hamptons."

Andy and Peter are always sourcing new products to inspire and delight their customers.

"We love finding new suppliers who have well designed, beautiful products" said Andy.

"It's such a thrill when you create a display of new products in the shop and by the end of the day they have already started selling them – mind you, it means you have to then re-do the display but that's part of the fun of the job."

Until the end of the August, customers at Hamptons can enjoy discounted prices on all furniture, lighting and prints.

There is also a selection of home accessories with sale prices and anyone spending £30 or more gets entered into store's Birthday Prize Draw to win £200 of Hamptons vouchers.

Peter said, "We are very lucky to have such loyal customers and we have met some wonderful people during the past 14 years, we like to give a little something back just to say thank you."

Hamptons is at 10 Ludlow Lane, Penarth, CF64 1EA. Telephone 029 2070 5391
