CROWDS supported the annual Dinas Powys Village Show and organisers have expressed thanks thanks to all who braved the weather and to the stall holders in the garden.

The WI provided delicious teas and cakes.

The Village Show is self-funded and the raffle provides vital income.

The donations of raffle prizes has been gratefully acknowledged. John Fanshaw, Show Chair, presented cups to young winners.

Mr Fanshaw said: "Another great Village Show with wonderful entries of flowers, vegetables, crafts, art, needlework and more. Congratulations to Liz Richards who was awarded the Show Champion plate with the highest number of points. Tina Simmons received the champion allotment holder certificate from Anne Asbrey.

The audience was thrilled to be entertained by the Ecumenical Seven.

There were a range of stands including Bethesda Chapel and Fairtrade.
