Sadly Dinas Powys the library is saying goodbye to Joan Andrews as she is leaving Dinas Powys after being a resident for over 35 years.

Joan was a founder member library Trustee and helped to steer the library through stormy times over the last 4 years.

Chair of the Trustees Chris Franks said: "We appreciated the huge contribution Joan made in helping to ensure that the library successful moved from being under the control of the Vale Council to becoming an independent community charity.

"Hopefully the picture will remind Joan of the good times she experienced in Dinas Powys. Her contribution to the community will be missed."
