Garden scheme helps local charities
Generous donations from National Garden Scheme Charity have been made to local charities
In July eight gardens in Dinas Powys opened for charity as part of the National Gardens Scheme. Money raised was distributed to national and local charities.
Ginny Golding Dinas Powys Treasurer of the National Garden Scheme has now presented cheques to three local charities - Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern £400 (John Fanshaw, Chris Franks and Keith Hatton), Dinas Powys Library & Activity Centre £400 (Trustee Mary Templing) and the Vale Foodbank £336.18 via Bethesda (Sue Hamer)
Keith Hatton a NGS committee member was also in attendance.
