Flood alerts are no longer in place for Penarth, and other coastal areas of South Wales.

An update from Natural Resources Wales at 9:23am removed the flood alerts that were announced yesterday evening.

The flood warning issued last was the second of three possible alert levels issued by Natural Resources Wales. The warning covers smaller, community-level areas where flooding of properties from rivers or the sea is expected.
