A collision involving five vehicles blocked lanes on the link road between Cogan and the A4232 roundabout junction at around 1pm today.

There area is partially blocked and there is queuing traffic according to AA Traffic.

People are warned to stay away from driving near the accident until it has been cleared.

Nub News contacted South Wales Police who have issued a statement.

A spokesperson said: ''Police are in attendance at a road traffic collision which happened on the Cogan Spur near the junction with the A4232.

''Five vehicles are involved. Everyone in the cars has got out safely.

''Officers are still at the scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area while the cars are removed.''
