Penarth is returning to normal... events are back! Take a look at what's going on in the town in our recently revamped What's On section.

You can advertise your event for FREE by clicking the black Nub It button.

You will have seen the banner, but have you booked your ticket. Next weekend sees the return of Open Garden Trail. Take a stroll through Penarth's finest gardens, with the proceeds going to The Children's Society.

Here's what the event's organisers, Jon and Judith Dewis, have to say about it on our events page:

The 25th Annual Penarth Open Gardens Trail takes place on the weekend of the 24th July 10.00-1800hrs & 25th July 11.00-1700hrs 2021.

Tickets are available on the day at each garden priced £5 for adults with children free and includes a complimentary tea/coffee at 4 Tudor Close. Tickets provide entry to every garden over both days.

A variety of gardens will be open over the weekend including courtyard gardens, cottage gardens, allotments and gardens for everyone to enjoy. Homemade cakes, filled rolls, and preserves will be available to tempt you along with plants and a raffle, with wonderful prizes donated by Penarth businesses.

As well as our established gardens we are also pleased to provide the public with new gardens this year. There are 14 gardens open on the Saturday and 10 on the Sunday.

Each garden has something different to offer the visitor. New ideas on garden design, plant information and just a good old chat about gardening makes this a special weekend for those who enjoy their gardens or those just starting out with their new garden.
