Disposable BBQs blight Cosmeston benches yet again

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has posted photos of a Cosmeston Lakes Country Park public table damaged by what appears to be a disposable barbeque.

BBQ-burnt benches are an ongoing problem for the Council and park visitors alike. A similar photo was posted just under two weeks ago (2 April).

"We're sorry to be sharing this post again," the Council tweeted.

"Unfortunately, more visitors to Cosmeston Country Park have been causing damage to our benches with disposable BBQs.

"Please help keep our parks enjoyable for all."

Barbeques are permitted within the grounds, though not on the tables.
