Despite the weather the Dickensian Evening in Dinas Powys was a great success.

The band played on, Bethesda's Nativity scene was busy,

Plaid's chocolate was drunk and the Players were dramatic.

The Scouts, WI the Music Festival, DP AFC, Girl Guides and many more were there.

Councillor Chris Franks congratulated the Rotary Club for their dedication and all their hard work in organising the night, adding: "So well done to the community for braving the elements. Thanks Rotary, the Community Council and all the stall holders but most of to the public."
