Nub News have teamed up with Penarth resident and computer scientist Michael Fox to bring you a daily update of localised COVID statistics.

Today's numbers reveal a sharp spike in cases in Llandough and Cogan, where a dramatic 27 new cases have been reported.

Nub News has been unable to confirm whether Llandough University Hospital is the source of the outbreak.
