Cook-along with Griffin Books

Join Griffin Books, for a very special literary cook-along led by Nerys Howell, author of 'Bwyd Cymru yn ei Dymor / Welsh Food by Season'. This bilingual event will take place on Wednesday 21 October at 6.30 pm and forms part of the independent bookshop's programme of online events which are running throughout autumn.

Food and drink specialist, Nerys Howell, will take you step-by-step through one of her mouth-watering seasonal recipes while also giving an insight into her scrumptious new book, 'Welsh Food by Season'. By the end of the event you will have prepared a delicious meal to enjoy at home. Staying in really is the new going out!

Nerys travels all over the world promoting food and drink from Wales and is a regular on TV and radio programmes in both Welsh and English. Her bilingual book 'Cymru ar Blat / Wales on a Plate', was shortlisted for the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards (2010).

Ticket holders will be emailed the ingredients and any specific utensils required in advance of the event, however the specific recipe won't be revealed until the night.

The event will take place via Zoom video call and tickets cost just £5.00 per household, or £15.00 with a SIGNED copy of 'Bwyd Cymru yn ei Dymor / Welsh Food by Season' (RRP: £14.99). To book, visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/griffinbooks or contact the shop on 029 2070 6455 / [email protected]
